WE'RE BACK

Woof everypups, kitties and hamsters. Sorry we haven't been around lately. Mom's stupid job is just taking all of her time and she doesn't do anything but work anymore. We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and got lots and lots of turkey snacks. We're just here trying to get ready for Christmas. Mom put the tree up on Thanksgiving weekend and we've already knocked it over twice(at least we didn't try to drag it out the doggie door). We'll post pictures as soon as we can.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEIKO

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEIKO

Nine years ago, little Keiko was adopted from the Humane Society. She was a high energy pup who could play 24 hours a day, often falling asleep with a tennis ball in her mouth. But the fondest memories that Mom has of Keiko are the memories that make non-dog people cringe. Everything from house plants to couch cushions went outside through the doggie door, and on several occasions, the water hose was pulled inside the house. Once, Keiko even tried to drag a Christmas Tree outside. Mom came home to find the tree wedged in the doggie door with Scuba and Keiko sitting happily outside, tails wagging, unable to get back into the house. Needless to say, it was the last real Christmas Tree we ever had as Mom went artificial after that. Mom has a certain philosophy that she follows when it comes to us dogs. Every time Keiko would tear into the couch or chew a hole in the wall, Mom would always say, 'if this is the worse thing that ever happens in life, then we should be thankful'.

A rare moment of tranquility from Keiko's puppyhood.
