Being fun-loving creatures of the canine variety, we don't understand why some people get all stressed out over voting. Why don't they just vote the way Mom votes? She always gets an early, mail-in ballot and a bottle of wine and she's happier than a pig in...., well, you know what we mean. Of course after drinking half the bottle or so, one of us pups has to help her out because she's trying to draw tiny little ovals all over the page.

THE ONLY WAY TO VOTE
Being fun-loving creatures of the canine variety, we don't understand why some people get all stressed out over voting. Why don't they just vote the way Mom votes? She always gets an early, mail-in ballot and a bottle of wine and she's happier than a pig in...., well, you know what we mean. Of course after drinking half the bottle or so, one of us pups has to help her out because she's trying to draw tiny little ovals all over the page.

Wow, your mom seems more laid back than my human K! K sent in her ballot today after a stressed-filled evening last night researching two pages of names (a two-sided ballot) on the web because many of the candidates did not have full bios on the web. Perhaps she should have relaxed with a bottle of Pinot Noir.
And I could have relaxed with a nice meaty bone! *sigh...in my doggy dreams!

Batso woman always starts reading that book they send you to vote from and then wishes she had a bottle of wine. If she had the wine she would never see the ballot or be able to drive it to the mail box at the court house. The old fire monkey is always trying to tell her how to vote, but she never listens to him.

Mums approach is to think about voting.. then have a drink, think a bit more, then have another drink, think a bit more.. then have several drinks then decide she is too drunk to vote so not bother.

My human voted, too. She was going to let me sit in the car but the line was too long so we went home and she went back by herself. She drank her bottle of wine AFTER she got back.

We know the saying mom's grandma used to say. "Happier than a little dead pig in the sunshine" Mom never figured that one out....how happy could a dead pig be?!
I think the wine is needed more this time than any other! Mom already went and early voted(with just diet coke to drink! bah)

You can come visit anytime! Do you like swimming? I don't, but the pool is all yours if you do! The water is too cold for K now so if you visit you can swim in it all you want!
Things are not going too good. K is not having any luck and we are deciding what we are going to do. Bummers (that is what K says!).

Wroo, The Girl wishes she had thought about voting that way! Too late for our (Canadian) federal election a couple of weeks ago, but she's going to look into it for the city election in November! Thanks for the tip, she says!

My mom's friend wanted to vote early buy NY doesn't do that unless you do an absentee ballot. It's a good idea though. Hey, my cat sister Libby really isn't that fat! She's a Maine Coon Cat so she has long, very fluffy hair. She is a little fat because she only has 3 legs and so doesn't get the exercise she used to.

Mom and I went to vote this morning. It was still dark out! When we left, the man guarding the box that ate Mom's tally sheet put an "I Voted!" sticker on me. Everyone in line thought that was really cute. I thought it was silly. Mom should have gotten the sticker-- she voted. I only "advised" her. BOL
